I'm Rose Foley
I have more than 20 years of experience in the writing and editing fields, working primarily in newspapers, including about 10 years at the Pulitzer Prize-winning Boston Globe. (I copy edited some of the Catholic Church abuse stories for which the newspaper won a Pulitzer. The story behind the news gathering became Spotlight, a Best Picture Oscar-winning film in 2015.) Born and raised in Massachusetts, I moved to the West of Ireland in 2013 after marrying a tried-and-true Galway man. I consider myself very lucky to be living here in the countryside only a half-hour drive from the music and theatre of Galway City. And I work right out of my home – what could be better?
